It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Lee Cantu of Gulfport, Mississippi, born in Victoria, Texas, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Cantu and Josie Cantu; his brother Charlie Cantu; his former wife Cheryl; and his stepbrother Eddie Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel; his sons, Gabriel and Matthew; his sister Cindy; his brother-in-law Mark Sebesta; his stepmother Lonnie Cantu; his stepbrother Ernest Garza (Pinky); his sister-in-law Anna Garza; his nieces and nephews, Anthony Cantu (Lumi), Lee Garza (Maddie), Malarie Melchor (Luis), Olivia Garza and Tia MaryAnn Rollings; his aunt Mary; and his uncles, Martin and Terry Lopez I.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home - Orange Grove (15452 Oneal Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503). A prayer was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (2090 Pass Rd, Biloxi, MS 39531). A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
