Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Nix and Howard Nix; her daughter-in-law Lynne Nix (Jimae Haynes); her grandchildren, Jennifer Saucier, Christina Daughdrill and Hunter Nix; and her great grandchildren, Madalynne, Ellie, Charlotte and Sadie.
