It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Ray Messer Sr. of Gulfport, Mississippi, born in Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Messer and Aline Messer; and his sons, Bobby R Messer Jr. and Earl Robbins. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn A. Messer; his daughters, Bonnie L Johnson (T. J.) and Andrea Seymour (Brian Sr.); his grandchildren, Shawn Smith, Anthony Johnson, Brain Seymour Jr., Tiffany Dewberry, Shawn Johnson, Justin Messer, Zachery Smith and Brandi S. Manning; his great grandchildren, Cameron T. Messer, Levi Smith, Jenna Smith, Cooper T. Messer, Lydia Smith, Mackenzie R Messer, Ransom Dewberry, Madison Manning, Brian Seymour III and Colton Seymour; his sisters, Linda Coker and Brenda Kinnis; and his daughter-in-law Peaches Messer.
