She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Ricky Necaise of Gulfport, Mike Necaise (Laurie) of McComb, Vicki Miller of Slidell and Cynthia Miller of Picayune; and her caregiver Hilda "Dee" Gayten of Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's honor may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
