She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph J. Scafidi. She is survived by: her children, Steve Scafidi (Kathy), Stephanie Howard (Ronald), Rhonda Lockley (Greg) and Shirley Morgan (Kevin); her grandchildren, Ryan Carter, Melissa Shockley, Payton Lockley, Alex Scafidi, Matthew Scafidi, Annie Scafidi and Garrett Morgan; her great grandchildren, Gavin Carter, Zachary Shockley, Ryleigh Carter and Emily Shockley; and her great great grandchild Asher Carter.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (366 Cowan Rd, Gulfport, MS 39507). A Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (8910 Carl Legett Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503).
