She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Dowdle and Jnettie Emmons Dowdle; and her brothers, G. W. "Buddy" Dowdle and Samuel L. "Sonny" Dowdle. She is survived by: her husband Billy Ray Rutland; her children, Janice Rutland Avery (Bobby) and Billy C. Rutland (Nora); her grandchildren, Hunter Rutland (Gina), Jordan Rutland (Robert) and Ashlee Avery (Brady); and her great grandchildren, Miranda Rutland, Amy Rutland and Wyatt Duke.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, there will be a private family service held.
