He was predeceased by: his brothers, Loye Luther Mims, Gerald Crawford Mims and Jimmy Mims of Washington; and his wife Josephine Cunningham Mims. He is survived by: his brother Marvin Taylor Mims of Holcomb; and his great grandchildren, Ally, Henry, Reynolds Cort, James, Dowling, Demi Guyton, Josie Johnson, Charlotte, Millie McCrory, Mason, Mila Mims, Kamryn, Vera Jane and Brett Owens. He is also survived by three children, ten grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
