Steve Sykes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2025, at the age of 70, Steve Sykes of Grenada, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. "Bobby" Sykes and Claudine Sykes; and his brother Gary Sykes. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Clarice" Weir Sykes; his sons, William "Bill" Sykes (Carmen), Dan Sykes (Melissa), Thomas D. Sykes and Kevin R. Sykes; his stepchildren, Louis D. Correro (Tiffany) and Patricia Correro Armstrong (Ricky); his grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan Sykes, Legend, Marjorie, Dallas Clark, Chase, Lainey Sykes, Jeffery, Ella, Layla Correro and Dalton Hicks; and his siblings, Ronnie Sykes (Ann) and Teresa Moore (George).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
