With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert E. Self (Grenada, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Robert E. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert E. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Robert E. Self; his parents, Georgia Marie Caviness Self and George William Self; and his grandfather Jake. He is survived by: his wife Sim Nancy Clower; and his children, AngeLina Marie Self (Van Russell), Robert Todd Self (Donna) and Jon Mark Self (Heather). He is also survived by his three children, 13 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
