He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard James, Jr. and Mary Leigh Garner Stoker; and his sister Martha Stoker. He is survived by: his sisters, Libby Ferguson of Grenada and Lynn Foreman (Robert) of Hattiesburg; and his nieces and nephews, Samantha Garrick, Melanie Walker (Jeremy), Will Ferguson (Amanda) and Eric Foreman. He is also survived by four great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lions Club, Exchange Club or the Gideons.
