He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard R. Holland and Effie Thomas Holland; and his siblings, Emma Faye Newman, Richard Raney Holland, Benton Holland, Carl Holland and Howard Holland.

He is survived by: his wife Dorris Holland of Grenada; his children, Pam Allen of Madison and Gary Paul Holland of Gore Springs; and his sister Bonnie Morgan of Greenwood.
