She was predeceased by: her parents, Erskin C. Sykes and Ann Pullen Sykes of Winona; and her husband Robert F. Wheeler (Bob). She is survived by: her sons, John Whitley Wheeler (Kristen) of Arlington, VA and Robert West Wheeler (Melissa) of Grenada; her grandchildren, Sarah and Jacob Wheeler of Arlington, VA; her sons, Ethan, Joshua Wheeler of Hattiesburg, MS, Zachary, Elijah Swartz of Southaven, MS and Bailey Mae Wheeler of Sparks, NV.; her niece Suzanne Dantone King; her nephew David Dantone (Mary) of Homewood, AL.; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sykes King, Sam Dantone, Emma Kate King and Rosemary Dantone.
