With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jane Wright of Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hackler and Ruth Mabry Scott; her husband Elbert Thomas Wright; and her brother William Hackler "Bubba" Scott, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Jane Porter of Kingsport, TN, Tommy Wright of Grenada and Bill Wright (Denise) of Grenada; her sister Carol Hall of Madison; and her grandchildren, Donnie Byford, Nicole Crocker, Shane Porter, Deandra Gibson, Ashley Gunter, Mary Frances Taylor and Eric Wright. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McKibben & Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
