She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Henry Rose and Travie Allene Alldread Rose; her son Jesse Duane Vance; and her siblings, Laverne Downs, James Howard Rose and Roy Rose.

She is survived by: her son Barry Vance of Atoka; and her siblings, Betty Lou Ware of Winona, Gene Rose of Florida and Homer Rose of Hephzibah. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
