With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marti Henderson (Grenada, Mississippi), born in Leland, Mississippi, who passed away on May 17, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe B. Walton and Zexa Mae Strickland Walton; her sons, Kenneth Wayne Avery and Randy Joe Avery; and her brother Michael Joe Walton.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Beth Melton (David) of Grenada; her grandson Odie Joe Avery of Detroit, MI; her nieces, Gina Hood (Clay) of Gore Springs and Leslie Bowie of Grenada; her great-nieces, Allison Hood Robinson, Jessica Hood Harrison (Austin) and Marti Beth Perez (Jerry); her great-nephew Carson Bowie; and also, Jack, Liam Perez, Hadley Grace Robinson and Mary Clayton Harrison.
