She was predeceased by: her siblings, Brack of Cadaretta, Melvin of Cadaretta, Travis Clanton of Cadaretta and Odean Middleton of West Point, MS; and her son-in-law Tony Bales of Brandon, MS..
She is survived by: her children, Anita T Bales of Brandon and Mickey Trussell (Sandra) of Gore Springs; her grandchildren, Joey Trussell (Amy) of Gore Springs, Jennifer Trussell of Boca Raton, FL, Jessica Emmons (Josh) and Jaime Bales of Brandon; and her sister Jean Stewart of Grenada.
For many years, she was a member of the Pilot Club, serving a term as president from 1984 to 1985 and also a member of the Business and Professional Women's Foundation (BPW).
