It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Geeslin of Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Otis Revere; her husband O. W. Geeslin of Valentine's Day; her mother Annis Gunter; and her sisters, Jean Gunter Hylander and Mary Gunter Benoist.
She is survived by: her sister Patricia Gunter Adkins (Jerry); her nephews, Walter Ray Hylander III, Bronwyn Benoist Parker (Walton), William Dean Benoist, Dr. Jonathan Ross Adkins (Paula), Jerod Gunter Adkins (Kara) and Judson Taylor Adkins; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alyssa Joy Hylander Petty (Justin), Hayley Ross Hylander Miller (Sam), Hannale Hylander, Haaken Hylander Boswell, Lauren Parker Hayward (Ragan), Mary Katherine Parker Denley (Sam), William Maxwell Benoist, Taylor Marie Benoist, Anna Ross Adkins, Mary Dobbs Adkins, Jonathan Elliot Adkins, Anderson Gunter Adkins and Sawyer Denham Adkins.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oddfellows Cemetery.
