He is survived by: his daughters, Monica Hood (Carl) of Grenada and Lisa Cooper (Don) of Lake Cormorant; his sisters, Inez Ross of Tucson, Margaret Simmons of Grenada and Ann Pittman of Batesville; his grandchildren, Kenny Hood (Beth), Nikki Wortham (Lee), Andy Merryman, Alyssa Allen (Shawn), Brittney Dingman (Jeff), Laura Watkins (Adam) and Evan Merryman (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Jenny, John, Baleigh, Tucker, Averi, Scottie, Porter, Sailor, Lennox, Cayden, Abella, Rose, Grace, Seren, Saven, Bishop, Szoriah, Juna and Arlo; and his pet Sadie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mortimer National Funeral Home (2113 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901).
