He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Melvin Tubbs and Ella Starnes Tubbs; his wife Mary Nell Tubbs; and his siblings, Myrtle Mize, Jean James, Guy Curtis Tubbs, Evan Tubbs, James Roland Tubbs and Dorris Tubbs.
He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy Owens of Millington and Robert Tubbs of Idaho. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
