John K. Ashley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John K. Ashley of Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on December 28, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cage, Sr. Ashley and Lucy Evelyn Ogden Ashley; his wife Janie T. Ashley; and his siblings, William Norris Ashley, Cage "CJ" Ashley, Jr. and Frances "Mutt" Whitehead.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Anne Ashley Chandler (Mike) of Grenada, Donald Ray Ashley, Sr. (Brenda) of Jasper, AL and Jon Stephen Ashley (Pat) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Phillip Michael Chandler, Donald Ray Ashley, Jr., John Thornton Ashley, Amanda Leigh Ashley, Stephanie Elizabeth Ashley Glover and Mallory Magen Chandler McCormack; and his sister Virginia McFatter of Hattiesburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the First United Methodist Church – Grenada or to the Grenada Soup Kitchen.
