He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Melton and Christine Fisk Melton; and his siblings, Betty Collins, Evelyn Johnson and Bob Melton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Monica Ludolf (Calvin) of Grenada and Tabatha Welch of Grenada; his siblings, Brenda Franklin of Columbia, Mary Melton of Grenada, Martha Harrison of Grenada, Ronnie Melton of Grenada, Donnie Melton of Florida and Charles Melton of Holcomb; and his grandchildren, Henry Ludolf, Mason Ludolf, Diesel Ludolf, Julianna Johnson, Ryland Wilson and Addison Wilson.
