With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Kennedy of Grenada, Mississippi, born in Ruleville, Mississippi, who passed away on August 24, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Percy and Mattie Inez Beasley Skinner; her husband Richard Leon Kennedy, Sr.; her son Michael Glenn Kennedy; and her sister Belle Grantham.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Kennedy (Mary) of Decatur, AL and Dr. Benjamin Kennedy (Angel) of Charleston; her daughter-in-law Carmie Kennedy of Grenada; her sisters, Sara Maw of Kennesaw, GA and Inez Grant of Grenada; and her grandchildren, Salina Blankenship, Dana Hood, Michelle Scott, Patrick Kennedy, Missy Kennedy, Amanda Cave, Mary Kate Culpepper, Keith Kennedy, Emily Higgins, Kimberly Kennedy and Caleb Kennedy. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
