He is survived by: his wife Shirley Holland Blount; his children, Nanette Langkawel (Larry), Annette Davis (Randy) and James "Jimmy" Blount, Jr. (Jill) of Louisville, KY; his brothers, Howard Blount of Grenada and Ellis Blount (Lynda) of Independence; his grandchildren, Heather Richoux (Raymond), Autumn Sanford Armstrong, Jonathan Blount (Morgan), Joel Cummins (Elanor), Lizzy Blount and Alyssa Fennell (Kaleb); and his great grandchildren, Sara Rook, Skyler Reeves, Layla Hughes and Karter Fennell.
