She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack S. and Mary L. Austin; her husband Gene Whiting; her brothers, Robert Austin and Johnny Austin; and her sister-in-law Kyoko Austin.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Kay Austin; her nieces and nephews, Johnny Austin (Lisa R.), Randy Austin, Mary Austin (Jon R.) and Dawn Hayes (Del); her great-nephews, Hayden Martin and Simon Hayes; her great-niece Megan Wray; her pet Jazz; and also Chandler Martin. She is also survived by relatives, dear life-long friends.
