He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Branscome and Guy Branscome. He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCurdy Branscome; his sons, William Guy Branscome, III (Shanelle) of Grenada and John Carl Branscome (Amanda) of New Albany; his grandchildren, Austin, Sara Brooke and Jack; and his brother Hayes Branscome (Martha Fay) of Grenada.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
