She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Homer Carpenter and Nora Moorman Carpenter; her children, Beverly Pierce (Chris) of Benton and Aaron Chamblee of Grenada; her sister Lucille Harmon of Theodore, AL; and her grandchildren, Skipper Pierce (Emily) of Knoxville and Kari Evans (Richard) of Canton. She was also cherished by six great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene.
