He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis B. Colton and Madeline J. Davis Colton; and his brothers, Richard A. Colton, Stewart J. Colton and Charles C. Colton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ellis B. Colton, III (Sun Cha Pok) of So and Teresa Katz (Thomas) of Liberty; his sons, Harry and Nicholas; and his close friend James Elliott of Amory, MS.. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
