He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Palmertree and Annie Mae Mullins Palmertree; his wife Peggy Ann Palmertree; and his siblings, Betty Romine and Tommy Palmertree.

He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Edwin Palmertree of Olive Branch and Dennis Aaron Palmertree of Cordova, TN; and his cousin Lily Dale Patton of Duck Hill.
