He was predeceased by: his parent Ennis Edward "Sonny" Boatman, Jr.; and his grandmother Mary Billie Boatman. He is survived by: his mother Penny Spurlock Boatman of Anchorage, AK; his son James Allen Boatman of Grenada; and his half-brother Aaron Kyle Potter.
