She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lawrence and Frances Thomas Gray; her husband Larry Sheffield; and her brother Willie "Sonny" Gray. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Duke, Sr. (Diann) of Grenada, Glen Duke (Amanda) of Grenada and John Sheffield of Grenada; and her grandchildren, Sharon Nowell, Melissa Mitchell, Robert Duke, Jr., Michele McCarley and Payton Duke. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
