It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Howell of Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Howell; and her son-in-law Roger. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Robinson (Clyde), Steve Howell (Sandra) and Deborah Patterson; her grandchildren, Stephanie Raper (David), Matthew Howell (Sabrina), Nathan Howell (Jennifer) and Casey Patterson; her great grandchildren, Alexandra Holland-Upp (Matthew), Cooper, Macy and Rebecca Howell; and her great great grandchildren, Taylor and Bentley Upp. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (320 College Blvd, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude or Methodist Children's Homes of Mississippi which facilitated the adoption of her great-great grandson Bentley.
