She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Scott and Lois Whitehead Scott; her sons, Bobby Payne and Cole Atwell; her grandson Johnny Payne; her sister Ruby Muha; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Morgan, Viola McWilliams, Mary Scott and Jim Clements.
She is survived by: her husband George Atwell; her sons, Johnny Payne of Horn Lake, David Atwell (Paula) of Monticello, AR, Michael Atwell (Angela) of Sterlington, LA and Jerry Atwell (Lexie) of Monroe, LA; her siblings, Bernice Clements of Red Banks, MS, Ernest Scott of Horn Lake, Wayne Scott (Betty) of Walls, James Scott (Joyce) of Lake Cormorant and Ronnie Scott (Pam) of Lake Cormorant; her siblings-in-law, Leigh McCaw, Barbara Womack and Willis Atwell; and her grandchildren, Justin Payne, Danielle Cummins, Rachelle Payne, Caroline Atwell, Anna Beth Atwell, Destine Shirley, Lane Atwell, Blake Atwell, Cole Atwell and Connor Atwell. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
