We bid farewell to Dan Buzzarde of Grenada, Mississippi, born in Greenwood, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 4, 2024 at the age of 87. Dan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Etta and Tine Etta; his siblings, Wanda Camille Buzzarde and L. E. Buzarde, Jr.; and his daughter Mary Theresa Carr Ambron.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Messina Mardis Buzzarde "Miss Rosie"; his daughters, Susan Allen of Clinton, Karol Moss of Judsonia, AR and Danette Woods (Kevin) of Mobile, AL; and his stepchildren, Mary Theresa Mardis of Grenada, Margherita Davenport (Randy) of Stockton, CA, Jim Mardis (Pamela) of Mount Dora, FL, Joe Mardis of Jackson, MS, Pat Mardis of Grenada and John Mardis (Breianna) of Water Valley, MS. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Parish (320 College Blvd, Grenada, MS 38901).
