It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Williams Sr. (Grenada, Mississippi), who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Marshall and Myrtle Williams (Tunberg); and his siblings, Robert Williams, Irvin Williams, Eli Williams, George Williams, Geneva Sims, Mildred Atcher, Ruth James, Mary Woods and Faye Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Yarbrough Williams of Tutwiler, MS.; his children, Charles Ray Williams, Jr. (Rosemary) of LaPorte, TX., Robert Wesley Williams of Tutwiler, MS., Laquita W. Sandifer (Timbo) of Boyle, MS. and Avonda Carpenter (Harvey) of Grenada, MS.; and his grandchildren, Megan Williams of Charles Williams, III, Hope Sandifer and Ethan Sandifer.
