She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard E. Mathis and Essie Mae Bradley Mathis; her son Glen Alan Ward; and her sisters, Clara Rinhart, Dorothy Workman and Roberta Moss.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Melton (Johnny), Gale Holliday (Ernie), Kelly McNamee (Paul), Joey Ward (Candy) and Richard Ward. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
