It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Booker Thomas of Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis W. Thomas and Lily Mae Sullivan Thomas; his former wife Edna Mae Ellett Thomas; his daughter Brenda Gay Thomas; and his siblings, Catherine O'Bryant, Bill and Pete Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Grubbs Thomas; his daughters, Andrea Janet Keith (Wil) of Baton Rouge, LA and Jennifer T. Turner (Bernard) of Grenada; his sister Minnie Mae Vick of Water Valley; his grandchildren, Bethany Turner (Justin True) and Heath Turner (Ariel); and his caregivers, Wanda Jones, Tasha Forrest and Linda Chrisman.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKibben & Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901).
