With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Colbert of Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on May 29, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Hunt and Lennie Brown Thompson; her husband James Eugene Colbert, Sr.; her son Christopher L. Colbert; her stepmother Eloise Van Meter Hunt; and her siblings, Louwilda "Billie" Paxton, Geri Aldridge, Robert Hunt, Milton Hunt, Lawrence "Tony" Hunt and Dan Hunt.
She is survived by: her children, James E. Colbert, Jr. (Bea) of Winona and Susan Colbert Miller (Jerry) of Grenada; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Colbert of Grenada; her grandchildren, Cale Colbert (Stephanie) of Winchester, Kayla Ivey (Reagan) of Grenada, Nicole Birdsong (Jacob) of Grenada and Gracie Colbert of Grenada; her great grandchildren, James Lane Colbert and Jacob Wylie Colbert of Winchester; and her sister Cecilia Hunt Forbush (Charles) of Willow Wood, Ohio..
