Betty Thompson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2024, at the age of 97, Betty Thompson of Grenada, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Henry and Rachel Jackson Rose of Gore Springs, MS.; her husband Bedford Frank Thompson; and her brothers, Milton Henry Rose Jr., Jack Rose and Bob Rose.
She is survived by: her friend Jessie Brannon; her brothers, Bill Rose (Carolyn) and Ben Rose (Mary); her sisters-in-law, Floyce Rose and Mary Edna Rose; her grandsons, Matthew Collins (Amberly) and Hays Collins (Brooke); and also Gail Thompson Collins (James). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Betty's name to The MIND Center at UMMC, Development Accounting 2500 N. State Street, Jackson, MS 39216.
