She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Loraine and Flora Helen McKibben Steele; her husband Max E. Jenkins; and her sisters, Dixie Steele Davis and Betty Steele Jenkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary E. Jenkins (Jane) of Grenada, MS and Dr. Gregory K; her brother Bobby Steele of Calhoun City, MS; her sister-in-law Faye Jenkins of Bruce, MS; her aunt Rubye McKibben Murk of Gulfport, MS.; her grandson Tyler Keith Jenkins (Anna); her great grandchildren, Ada Lou and Whit of Durham; her grandsons, Trent Kyle Jenkins and Matthew Steele Jenkins of Olive Branch; her stepgrandchildren, Sledge Simmons (Abby) and Steve Simmons (Lindsey); and also, Susan Hoyle (Les) of Southaven, MS., Ruby of Kiln, MS, Caylin, Matthew of Brandon, MS, Bailey Herrera (Oscar), Vivie of Hersey, PA, Dr. Morgan Lampson (Chris) of Columbia, SC, Carter Wenger of Buffalo, NY., Tom, Judy Davis, Muriel Smith and Shirley Whaley.
