With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benny Hicks of Grenada, Mississippi, born in Crowder, Mississippi, who passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Leon and Etta Edwards Hicks of Virginia; his son Glenn Shannon Hicks; and his brother Larry Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Lou Alice Tilghman Hicks; his sons, Bradley Hicks (Wendy) of Senatobia and Randall Hicks (Leigh) of Huntsville, AL; his siblings, Rose Pilkington (Earl) of Mayo, FL and James Hicks (Vickie) of Pope; and his grandchildren, Piercen Hicks, Emry Hicks, Corbin Hicks and McKenzie Hicks.
Memorials may be directed to the Grenada Church of God or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
