It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aubrey Carter (Grenada, Mississippi), born in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 27, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Aubrey and Alma Overton Carter; his son Joe Carter; and his siblings, Ruby Zuelzer, Ed and Arnold Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Mathews Carter; his children, Jan Carter Smith (Mike) of Grenada, Anita Carter Turner (Kenny) of Grenada and Bruce Carter, Sr. (Mary Gay) of Ruston, LA; his grandchildren, Tracy Mitchell (Rob), Bruce Dale Carter, Jr., Hayes Carter (Paige), Tim Turner (Lori), Ken Turner (Memrie), Sean Turner (Taylor) and Mathew Carter; and his great grandchildren, Reynolds Carter, Abby Jo Carter, Joey Ruth Turner, Jaxon Turner, Aubrey Turner, Cassidy Turner, Landon Turner and Aiden Turner.
