It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Stanford of Grenada, Mississippi, born in Detroit, Alabama, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferman Stanford and Lennie Stanford; his wife Jane Perkins Stanford; and his siblings, Leon Stanford, Jerry, Doug Perry and Charlene Busby.

He is survived by: his children, Richard Arnold Stanford, Sharon Stanford Logan, Dr. James Keith Stanford, Marvin Reid Stanford, Connie Stanford Hollis, Irene Stanford Mendonca and Kevin Cole Stanford; his sister Shirley Cassidy; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret and Lana Perry. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
