She was predeceased by: her parents, Travis Leroy and Ruthie Alberta Lance Mitchell; and her brothers, Travis L. Mitchell, Jr. and James Oscar Mitchell. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Bailey (Carl Marascalco) of Grenada, Debbie Irvin (Bobby) of Etta and Mary Helms (John) of Clearwater, FL; her sister Linda Jones of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Scotty Bailey of Holcomb, Hunter Irvin (Sydney) of Brentwood, TN, Lauren Smith (Brian) of Holcomb, Zack Helms of Clearwater, FL, Brady Helms of Orlando, FL and Avery Helms of Tampa, FL; and her great grandchildren, Abby Bailey, Ava Smith, Gavin Bailey and Hunt Smith.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKibben & Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
