It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verneta Morrison in Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on September 11, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. T. Morrison; her parents, Lamar Jones and Bessie Carey Jones; her siblings, Dianne Woods, Bettie Dearen, Kenneth Jones and Dan Jones; and her great grandchild Allen Reed Anthony II.
She is survived by: her sister Katie Jones; her children, Judd and Sidney (Belinda); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Elizabeth (Allen Reed), Jonathan (Julia) and Patrick; and her great grandchildren, Sage and Jacob.
She loved flowers, but children more, so in lieu of flowers please consider donations to The Baptist Children's Village or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital in her memory.
