It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Quinton Perry of Greenwood, Mississippi, born in Cochran, Georgia, who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Bordeaux Perry and Green Byrd Perry; his wife Sandra Turner Perry; his son Ron Wesley Perry; and his siblings, Merle Elrod, Neail Porter, Marciene Westberry, Shirley Perry White and Green Byrd Perry, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Quinton Perry II (Mindy) of Ridgeland, MS; his grandchildren, Ann Turner James (Tim) of Mobile, AL, Wes Perry (Alex) of Oxford, MS and Catherine Perry of Ridgeland, MS; his great grandchildren, Tim James, III, Forrest James of Mobile, AL, Fisher Perry and Waverly Perry of Oxford, MS; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Harrison (Butch) of Atlanta, GA, Sam Turner of Richmond, VA and Marc Turner of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
