He was predeceased by: his wife Melissa Spencer Garret; his parents, Jimmy Garrett and Alpha Garrett; and his brothers, Jimmy Garrett and Charles Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Lucas Garrett of Cleveland, Peyton Garrett of Brandon and Karen Watts (Lisa) of Greenwood; his grandson Noah Watts of Greenwood; his sisters, Loretta Osborne of Greenville, Sharan Bradford of Clinton, Patricia Pope of Naples, FL, Janice Foreman of Grenada and Sandra Long of Clinton; and his close friends, Gregg and Tina Carr.
