Mary Morton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2020, at the age of 89, Mary Morton of Greenwood, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father James Cunningham Morgan; her husband Robert Mott "Bobby" Morton; her children, Rachel Mae Morton and Robert Mott "Bert" Morton, Jr.; and her siblings, James Cunningham Morgan, Jr. and Mable Alice Morgan Bradley.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Sara Elizabeth "Betty" Simmons Morgan; and her nieces and nephews, Jean Morgan Bush (Glen), Sally Morgan Ratcliff (Charles), James Cunningham "Buddy" Morgan, III (Annette), David Higdon Morgan (Theresa), Dent M. Morton (Kim) and Nancy Morton Seiler (Michael). She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Leflore County Humane Society in Greenwood, Mississippi.
