It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Laverne Goss Norwood of Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on May 31, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dent Henry Goss and Laura Lou McDonald Goss; her husband Gene S. Norwood; and her brother Alton Dent Goss. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Mounce Salmon (Robert) of Charleston, MS and Rhonda Mounce Drummond (James) of Greenwood, MS; her grandchildren, Leslie Salmon Moore (Tony), Peyton Salmon Brown (Bradley), Michelle Long Fuehr (Jeremy) and Nicole Long Hokett (Jim Holly); her great grandchildren, Andrew Heafner, Salmon Heafner, Shelby Boone, Autumn Boone, Asher Hokett, Ethan Hokett, Annabella Hokett, Hank Holly and Jonas Fuehr; and her family, Velma Bowman, Dorothy Streater, Madison Richardson, Barbara Dunn, Tammy Holcomb, Shirley Ivory, Earline Robertson and Helen Ivory.
