He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Avant and Wyneta Avant; and his siblings, Bobby Avant (Jeanette) of Americus, GA, Doug Avant of Greenwood, Richard Avant (Becky) of Greenwood, Faye Emmett (Glen) of Fort Worth, TX, Delores Moore and Judy Burgoon of Greenwood. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
