It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Norwood of Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Joe and Annie Pearl Clardy; and her siblings, Eva White, Maxine Elliott and Boyce Clardy.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn "Shorty" Norwood, Jr. of Memphis, TN, Linda Norwood Waggoner of Daphne, AL and Joe Norwood of Murray, UT; her grandchildren, Scott Norwood of Southaven, MS and Keely Waggoner McGee (Scott) of Birmingham, AL; her great grandchildren, Presley Norwood of Southaven, Moss McGee of Birmingham and Laura McGee of Birmingham; her brother Stennis Clardy (Glenda) of West Point, MS; and her sister-in-law Norma Clardy of West Point.
Memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church or the charity of donor's choice.
